Posing practice before final shoot (Editorial)

These were a few of the poses that we practiced and shot before my editorial shoot. At this point i wasn't certain on what make up i was doing or what kind of poses i wanted, i just knew that i was going to be painting the hands all different colours, this is why in all the poses i have incorporated hands.

The middle pose where Leah is sticking up her middle finger is a pose i definitely wanted to include after we practiced it. It shows off the hand, which will show off the colours in the image and also the rude gesture symbolises the word 'Rebel' very well as making a rude gesture to someone can be seen as rebellious.

Composition wise, i want the model to fill most of the frame so that the focus is heavily on the colours involved in her make up. Similar to that of the above images.  I also want the background to be black so that the colours stand out a lot more. The lighting will be very similar, however it might look slightly different as the model will not be wearing anything on her top half that will be in frame. The lighting set up that we used for the practice is what i am going to be using for my final shoot. This includes 2 softboxes with white poly boards to reflect off. A beauty dish above the model and a reflector (if needed).
